About The Parent’s Corner

The goal of The Parent’s Corner is to offer you information and tips on how you can grow strong families and make your job as a parent easier. 

We recognize that parenting is probably the most difficult job any of us will ever have, and it is one that we enter into with little or no training.   We understand that all parents are doing the best that they can and at times may need the help and support of others to navigate some of the complexities of parenting and raising children in today’s world.

In The Parent’s Corner, we are building a library of parenting tips that we have found useful in raising our own families and that we hope will be helpful to you too. 

Over the coming months, we are also adding a “Lighter Side of Parenting” section.  Come and see Claire Gawinowicz’s take on those day in and day out moments that make parenting such an adventure. Claire has been a Certified Parenting Educator since 1992 and has two college aged children, who have shown her the ropes.
